2 in 3 examinees fail in licensure tests - lawmaker

Nearly two in three examinees are failing the licensure examinations given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Rep. Arnel Ty of the party-list group Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers Association said yesterday.
Citing data from the PRC, he said that of the 345,182 college and technical school graduates who took various professional eligibility tests in 2010, only 125,419 or 36.3 percent passed.
